Overflow capacity for when the work piles up

Your pipeline does not arrive evenly. When three projects land in the same week, you do not need to hire and you do not need to turn work away. You need developers who can start now and stand down when the surge passes.

What this covers

Overflow is a flexible extension of your team. We slot into your process, your stand-ups, and your tools, and we carry the load you cannot reach this month.

  • Senior developers added to your team for a sprint or a season
  • We join your Slack, your board, and your stand-ups
  • Front-end, back-end, and full-stack coverage
  • Start within days, scale up or down by the week
  • No recruiting, no benefits, no long contract

How it works

1. Tell us the gap

Stack, workload, and how long you expect the surge to last.

2. We embed fast

We join your tools and pick up tickets, usually within three days.

3. We carry the load

Daily progress on your board, code reviewed before it merges.

4. Scale back cleanly

When the queue clears, we wind down. Everything stays in your repo.

Common questions

How fast can you start?

Most overflow engagements begin within three business days once we have repo access and a first ticket.

Do we manage your developers or do you?

Either way. You can assign tickets directly through your lead, or we self-manage against a backlog and report daily. Most teams prefer the first.

Is there a minimum commitment?

We work by the week. A typical surge runs two to six weeks, but you can extend or end with a week of notice.

What if the work outlasts the surge?

Some overflow engagements become standing retainers. We are happy either way, and there is no penalty for stopping when the work is done.
